The logo contains an outlined “d” and a “/” through Adobe Illustrator 2019 with the font Lato. The logo then has a box with the same width as the “d” and “/“, followed by curved corners on the top right and bottom left edges to create the “-“. Then the “/“ and ”-“ are aligned to create an “L”. The “d” and newly created “L” are aligned and then rotated to create an initial logo for DevLexicon. After the initial was created I created a blue gradient:
and added a drop shadow:
This all in place is what creates the first edition of the DevLexicon logo which is being displayed on Social Media, as a favicon on the website, and other locations where a logo is needed.
The title logo is a outlined “<dev” through Adobe Illustrator 2019 with the font Lato followed by the “L” that was created in the logo then another outline “exicon>” with the font Lato. The “<” and “>” have that blue gradient whereas has the DevLexicon orange (#C15D4F) colour. The “devLexicon” contains a slightly different drop shadow:
This all in place is what creates the first edition of the DevLexicon title logo which is being using on the header of the website, on letter headers, on business cards, and other print material and or digital formats in which displays the title “DevLexicon”.
